Hopkinsville, Kentucky — The Hopkinsville community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Joe Taylor, 55, who died following a devastating motorcycle crash Tuesday morning on South Virginia Street. According to Hopkinsville Police, the crash occurred around 11:55 a.m. when Taylor was traveling northbound on his motorcycle. Authorities said the motorcycle collided with a tree-trimming truck that was turning onto South Virginia Street from Means Avenue, causing severe injuries.

Captain Payton Rogers confirmed that CPR was administered at the scene before Taylor was transported to Jennie Stuart Health for emergency treatment.
