The Cherokee County community is grieving the tragic loss of two individuals following a deadly two-vehicle crash on State Highway 110 on Friday afternoon.
The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that Raymond Jerald Roberson III of Troup was driving a 2012 Chevrolet SUV northbound on the wrong side of the highway when it collided with a southbound 2003 Buick LeSabre. Ratrovius Travell Simon of Mount Enterprise, who was driving the Buick, was pronounced dead at the scene. Roberson was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
